About if I live in a time without communication and communication
by Reggie Liu
I can tell you a story about me. On July 5,
2009, a terrorist attack occurred in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,
which had a very bad impact on both at home and abroad. For me, a native of
Xinjiang, as my hometown, it completely affected the life track and future of
our generation
Since then, Xinjiang has quickly cut off
the connection between the whole of Xinjiang and the outside world in one day.
It has cut off the Internet and prohibited people from waiting to leave the
province and go abroad. This is to find out the terrorists hidden in Xinjiang.
However, for China, which has just entered the new era of the Internet at that
time, the people of Xinjiang are undoubtedly out of line with national
development and the international community. As a native of Xinjiang, I
understood the significance of doing so at that time, but our signals were
supervised. Only LAN and TV could only see Xinjiang's own TV stations, which
also cut off the communication between me and many friends in other regions.
At that time, to tell the truth, because I
was only 15 years old, the biggest impact on my life at that time might be that
I couldn't get more new knowledge from the Internet, couldn't see the TV
programs and animation I wanted to watch, and I didn't know about the updates
of games. Yes, and the NBA at that time, I loved Kobe Bryant most, In those
years, I could only watch it secretly from the international exchange room of
my father's port office. You know, Kobe won the championship in those two
years. It's a pity that he didn't see the live broadcast.
Of course, back to the problem itself,
looking back on the life at that time, in fact, the more impact is the
inability to obtain the latest technology and knowledge. The city stopped
making progress, the economy began to regress, and people's life became very
boring.
In an Internet age, communication between
people will improve work efficiency and exchange opinions with each other, so
that many unsolvable problems will be discussed by some different people before
more perfect answers appear
